I went to the dermatologist today, and I had many tender spots when I left. Nothing smarted quite as badly as my ego, though. The moles I have are caused by age, apparently, and he jokingly referred to them as barnacles, which he removed.
"Now that didn't hurt so much, did it?"
"Not as much as you calling me old!"
Bah humbug.
